What is Certification of Japanese Food & Ingredient Supporter Stores Overseas Program?
This program certifies restaurants and retail stores outside of Japan as “Japanese Food Supporter Stores” — businesses actively using and promoting food products and alcoholic beverages made in Japan. The program is sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries (MAFF), and the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, and is administrated by Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). Certification Features and Benefits
Upon approval, your business will have access to the following features and benefits that are part of your involvement:

• Receive an official certificate authorizing your business as a Japan Food Supporter.
• Be able to use the Japan Food Supporter logo for advertising, promotions, menu placement, etc.
  
• Be listed in our growing directory of Japanese Food Supporter Stores, as well as on the MAFF website.
• Be eligible to utilize the promotional materials and support provided by JETRO, MAFF and Suzuki Marketing.
• Be part of a growing community of stores, bars, and restaurants using and benefiting from Japanese ingredients, foods, and beverages.
